About Us

Brad Thurlow heads up the team at Working K9 Team as training director. Brad has worked with training dogs for over twenty years and currently breeds, develops and trains working line German shepherds for service roles (police/prisons) as well as for competitive obedience and tracking.

Brad instructs and trials in ANKC and also dogsport and has successfully obtained multiple titles in many disciplines. Brad is also head trainer at WK9 Club Association and helps others to develop their dogs for competition.

Brad is assisted by Karen Eaton. Karen is an ANKC judge and has many years of experience dog training/trialling in competitive obedience and tracking. Karen holds the prefix for Monsimbee German Shepherds and assists Brad with development of dogs as well as instructing others at club level.

Both Karen and Brad have experience working with behavioural issues including aggression and reactivity in various situations.
